This is great all purpose knife to use. Beautifully welded to blade Tsuba, meaning quality finish to look at and comfortable to hold in the fingers. Good rust resistance even when cutting acidic fruits like oranges. Resin/plastic handle fees very comfortable, almost like wood. Single silver yasugi steel; for a simple elegant look. Considering the welded Tsuba finish, great value for money. Excellent for instroduction to Japan knives. 210mm may be large for domestic amateur chef's like me, but this knife will do everything, even cutting your big melon's and pumkins. with the sharp point to start the cut. Do not let the light weight fool you; this is powerful sharp knife, so use it with care and concentration.
