I knew some vegetable and fruit variation had come into existence through cytogamy or cell fusion, such as between trifoliate orange and satsuma, between napa cabbage and cabbage, but they had been keeping the low profile for some reasons unexplained-but this hybrid seems to boast a virtue both the parents dont: moderately meaty cylindrical leaves whose counterpart so far has been only seasonal and imported, flower stems of garlic from China.
Unfortunately this vegetable is fertile but hope they propagate vigorously in the garden.
The plants I received themselves, seem quite good and moderately well-grown.
