Large enough to feed a family, heats very fast and evenly. Seasons well. The wok is very well made. The handle is welded well and the repousse craftsmanship is painstakingly perfect and gives it a distinctive look. All "repousse" woks I have seen for sale in the US are hammered after being formed and are thus not true repousse. The bottom is round but gently concave such that I can even use it on a gas burner without a wok ring. I was worried about the handle getting too hot but it takes about ten minutes over high heat before it gets to that point. The light weight and convenient handle lends itself very well to both casual and extensive use in a professional kitchen. I will be using this wok for a long time to come!
